Mayor Henrici is Green!

Re: Waite Street Bridge

With regard to the above, it has been determined that the re-building of the bridge as designed is not in the best interests of the Spring Glen neighborhood and the entire Town of Hamden.

In view of same, Hamden hereby withdraws from the program and considers the entire project permanently terminated.

Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

Very truly yours,

Craig B. Henrici, Mayor
CBH/gt

this is fantastic news.....is it really for real...will they listen to the Mayor?.....I think we should keep our lawn signs up until November...

Hats off to Mayor Henrici! Our voices were heard and he made the right decision on our behalf.

My home offers a direct panoramic view of the bridge from across the lake. I want to thank and congratulate the people who organized the fight to preserve this beautiful place.

I am in total awe by the brave stand that the Mayor adopted. No politics, no cynicism, just straight-forward common sense and sincere care for the citizens of the town he heads. So admirable.

Thank you, NEIGHBORS.

It was your efforts that caused this to happen. Don't stop now!! Remember to thank and support Mayor Henrici and your other representatives in this decision. Remember too, that now we must influence this project in the right way as it is redesigned and moves forward.
